Instructions
Shake well before use. Once a day or depending on the horse's needs, apply a few drops of Mok olie to the affected skin until the desired effect is achieved. Make sure the skin is as dry and clean as possible. Do not scratch scabs, but soak them loose or wait until they disappear on their own during treatment with Mok olie.
Mok olie has a pleasant, fresh scent and can be used safely when exposed to sunlight and on wounds . Suitable for all skin types.
Also suitable for horses that are outside 24/7. Then remove as much sand or mud as possible and apply Mok olie when your horse is in a dry place (feeding/care) so that the product has a chance to absorb into the skin. You can wash with our skin-friendly Natuur Shampoo .

About mud fever
Mud fever is a multifactorial condition and a collective term for all kinds of disorders of the lower legs and pasterns in horses. A distinction is made between dry and wet mud fever.
The most common symptoms are moist or dry scabs, dry and/or cracked skin, tenderness, itching, redness, painful swelling, pus/puss,...

Mud fever has up to 40 different causes, the most common are reduced resistance, disturbed intestinal flora, incorrect (unsuitable) nutrition according to the needs of your horse, standing in the mud for too long without being able to dry out in time, standing in a dirty stable or paddock (urine and manure), legs are hosed down too often and/or washed with shampoo after training without drying them, use of dirty towels and brushes, wounds or soft skin, too little freedom of movement, reduced blood flow and lymphatic circulation, etc.

Mok olie is doping-free and therefore suitable for sport horses. Safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares, but caution is always advised.
