Safe to use when exposed to sunlight, around the eyes, the midline (midline dermatitis) and on (open) sores.
Instructions for use
Very economical to use. Apply a few drops between the mane and tail or to areas prone to chafing, depending on your horse’s needs: ranging from daily to a few times a week.
It is recommended to start with daily application during the first week and, after this week, see if you can reduce the frequency – which is the case for most horses – or reapply Reva Lotion when the skin becomes drier again.
Hold the nozzle as close to the skin as possible and massage in gently. You can treat small areas by dripping the lotion onto your finger and applying it to the skin, for example around the eyes and on the ears. Wash with our skin-friendly Nature Shampoo.
The product has a fresh, pleasant scent. Suitable for all skin types. Can be used with or without an eczema blanket and works perfectly in combination with Zoem Spray.
Additional information
Ideally, start treatment preventively in early spring (before day and night temperatures reach 10°C) and before your horse starts rubbing. However, even if your horse is already rubbing or itching, Reva Lotion works very effectively. Many horses are now stabled without an eczema blanket thanks to this product. As the owner, you are best placed to assess what is possible for your horse and to experiment.
Sweet itch is a multifactorial condition, and itching is a complex symptom. It is always advisable to review your feeding regime, stabling and management practices and adapt them to your horse’s needs. You can read all about this in our e-books on ITCH and PRIMAL FOOD.
Reva Lotion has cleansing properties, which means that in some horses, oily flaking may occur for a short period (approximately 1 to 2 weeks, usually in spring) in the areas where the lotion is applied. This process may be accompanied by skin sensitivity. By shedding the old skin and forming new skin, stored waste products are removed and the body is cleansed. Your horse’s self-healing ability is therefore at work!

Store Reva Lotion in a frost-free, dark place with minimal temperature fluctuations and out of reach of ‘pests’. A medicine cabinet in the stable is ideal. Shelf life of at least 12 months after opening.
Contains sweet almond oil. Wear protective gloves if you have a nut allergy. Contains no corticosteroids, artificial fragrances or colourings, or other additives. Purely natural, The Natural Way.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and intimate body parts. Keep out of reach of children.
Doping-free. Suitable for sport horses. Safe for use on pregnant and lactating mares, but caution is always advised.
