Laura Cleirens
Laura Cleirens is the driving force behind The Natural Way. She is a certified herbalist, aromatherapist and nature guide and looks back on a career as an acupressure and sports massage therapist for horses.
Over the years, she has developed a holistic approach to her treatments, advice and interaction with horses.
At the age of just 10, Laura began collecting wild plants, creating a herbarium and teaching herself about their medicinal properties from herbal books.
Her first pony, Beauty, rubbed his mane and tail lightly, but Yorim, the Shetland pony she rode every Sunday, rubbed himself until he bled. All kinds of products and injections were unable to combat the overwhelming itching.
At that moment, Laura decided that she would relieve horses of summer eczema and started making her herbal concoctions.
Talk about a life mission!
Every day she enjoys being with her three beautiful mares: Nevada, Bras and Ika – her carefree sweet itch pony – and her farm of animals.

In order from left to right: Bras - Ika - Nevada
" Passionate about horses, I do my part to optimize the health and well-being of horses."
