Instructions
Shake well before use. Apply a small amount of CPL Oil to the skin once a day or as needed. A few drops are sufficient.
⮕ We recommend treating with CPL Oil daily during week 1 to restore the skin's softness, suppleness and hydration. After week 1, you can reduce the frequency according to your horse's needs. Adapt your treatment to the following guidelines: ensure that the skin does not dry out but also does not feel greasy. A few drops per treatment of an area are sufficient.
Ensure that the skin is as dry and clean as possible and shave or trim the socks short to treat close to the skin.
CPL Oil has a pleasant, fresh scent and can be used safely when exposed to sunlight and on open wounds . Suitable for all skin types.
Also suitable for horses that are outside 24/7. Then remove as much sand or mud as possible and apply CPL Oil when your horse is in a dry place (feeding/care) so that the product has the opportunity to penetrate into the skin. You can wash with our skin-friendly Nature Shampoo .

Chronic Progressive Lymphedema (CPL) is a chronic, incurable skin condition in horses. CPL is characterized by a poorly functioning lymphatic system and a lack of elastin in the tissues. There is poor circulation in the lymphatic and blood vessels.
There are different stages with, among others, the following symptoms: poor skin quality, skin folds, flakes, itching, swelling, fluid retention, lumps, infections, irritation, wounds, mug, grater, mites, maggots,...
CPL mainly occurs in coldbloods and feather horses, such as Friesians, Tinkers, Shires and draft horses.

CPL Oil is doping free. Safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares, but caution is always advised.
