"After 12 years, we finally found a product that works! Wiesje and Atos have both sweet itch which makes them terribly itchy from March to October. I think I've tried 25 different ointments/lotions and never found anything that helped.

The skin is a lot calmer and new hairs grow. I've never experienced that before! She also has much less itching, previously she preferred to be tickled in the affected areas for hours and it continued to itch all day long. When I touch it now, she no longer immediately raises her upper lip like: oh yes, that must tickle you. And they seem to calm down immediately when I put it on.
With previous ointments they also tried to avoid smearing (mainly around the ears). And when I finished applying the cream, my mare immediately started rolling and rubbing under her belly. She doesn't do that at all anymore. She is super calm during and after applying the lotion."

"Hurbey has been suffering enormously for years of sweet itch. When he first came to us he shaved off all his mane, his tail, his shoulders and his butt. Sometimes even to the point of bleeding. In some places he had no hair left.
The first two years we had it we tried everything. We tried all the sprays and ointments available. Nothing really helped.
We were advised to buy an eczema blanket, but we weren't really in favor of that.

Your horse is worth its weight in gold, right? Why not choose a natural product that really works? I bought this Sweet Itch Lotion for my then 2-year-old horse who started chafing her tail. After a few days I immediately saw that it had a soothing effect because she hardly or no longer chafed. First I applied it 1 to 2 times a day, then 3 times a week and now only 1 time a week to keep the skin on her tail and mane soft and supple without itching. A problematic itchy horse will need to use it once a day once spring arrives, you only need a little. Stress, sun, dry skin, sugars in food, small mosquitoes and other insects can trigger itching, so the cause is not always very clear, but you can certainly do something about it! I have now used it for several horses and always with success. I recommend everyone to have this lotion at home because itching is a terrible thing and a happy horse with a beautiful mane and tail is what we all want. Top product that is worth every euro! "This is my pony Apach, he has sweet itch. I used to try a number of different shampoos and remedies, some recommended by the vet, but they no longer had any effect after a while so I stopped using them. The problem is that with this the itching did not go away, so he continued to chafe when he had the chance.
This year it quickly started to chafe again and even to the point of wounds... I started searching again and came across Sweet Itch Lotion from The Natural Way.
The day after the first application we noticed that there was already a difference: his skin already looked better and the wounds were no longer so dirty and this improved every day. After a few days, skins did indeed come off as described and his skin healed.
These are before-after photos after three weeks.
The first two weeks we applied almost every day unless I saw that there was enough lotion still hanging on (looks like a little greasy on the skin). Then every two days. He doesn't even sand anymore even though he has the option. He stands without a blanket, just on grass with a shelter.
